You could help give fresh drinking water to a whole school, and improve the health of hundreds of children by doing so.
Many schools have no fresh water and the children collect water from the local pond to drink. This leads to a lot of sickness and disease, in some cases leading to death.
The best form of water is rain water. We can install gutters, downpipes and water tanks for around $1200. This would provide the average school with 4 months water per two water tanks. As Cambodia has unlimited rain in the rainy season, two sets of water tanks ($2400) will see a school have enough water for most of the school year.
This is a perfect project for a school fundraiser, Rotary Club project or a corporate donation.
